Professional Background
Mr. Tschirhart began practicing law in 1968. Immediately
prior to joining Sher & Blackwell, he served 12 years as Senior Vice President and
General Counsel for The Hertz Corporation. Before that he worked 9 years as a trial
attorney and senior staff counsel for United Airlines. His litigation experience includes
service as a trial attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and
three years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.
Mr. Tschirhart's reputation as a successful
litigator for both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation
is well known. In addition to winning many cases he has counseled
numerous clients on employment, regulatory, and other commercial matters.
