Mr. Schwadron joined Sher & Blackwell’s Government
Relations Practice Group after more than 25 years as a senior
congressional staffer. His recent clientele has included the Vietnam
Veterans of America Foundation, Earthwatch Institute International,
Woods Hole Steamship Authority, Mashpee (MA) Wampanoag Tribal Council
and the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard
University.

Background
Prior to Sher & Blackwell, Mr. Schwadron served for two decades
as Chief of Staff and Communications Director to Congressman William
Delahunt and Congressman Gerry Studds, as well as Senior Counsel &
Communications Director for the House Committee on Merchant Marine
and Fisheries. A former newspaper reporter from Cape Cod, Schwadron
has extensive experience in strategic communications and media relations.
During his congressional tenure, Schwadron worked to enact reforms
to streamline the international adoption process, address wrongful
execution of innocent death row inmates and create a new national
park on the Boston Harbor Islands. He also helped broker an agreement
that brought 12 million gallons of discounted Venezuelan home heating
oil to 50,000 low-income homes in Massachusetts – a project
since replicated in eight other cold-weather states.
