Professional Background

Prior to Sher & Blackwell, Mr. Schwadron served for two decades as Chief of Staff and Communications Director to Congressman William Delahunt and Congressman Gerry Studds, as well as Senior Counsel & Communications Director for the House Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries. A former newspaper reporter from Cape Cod, Schwadron has extensive experience in strategic communications and media relations.

During his congressional tenure, Schwadron worked to enact reforms to streamline the international adoption process, address wrongful execution of innocent death row inmates and create a new national park on the Boston Harbor Islands. He also helped broker an agreement that brought 12 million gallons of discounted Venezuelan home heating oil to 50,000 low-income homes in Massachusetts – a project since replicated in eight other cold-weather states.
