Mr. Don Kassilke, an associate at Sher & Blackwell,
advises clients on maritime
regulatory and commercial
matters. He is also involved in our aviation
practice.
Professional Background
Mr. Kassilke joined Sher & Blackwell as a summer associate
in 2001 and became a full-time associate in 2002. While at Sher &
Blackwell he has successfully represented clients involved in commercial
litigation, advised a corporate client with respect to an international
arbitration under the UNCITRAL rules, and advised clients on matters
before the Federal Maritime Commission and Federal Aviation Administrations.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kassilke served
on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations. He previously served
as a Naval Flight Officer and has amassed nearly 3000 hours in various
jet aircraft.
